Roger MacBride Allen

Roger MacBride Allen is the author of over twenty published science fiction novels, including three New York Times best-selling Star Wars novels, as well as a modest number of short stories and how-to books. He is the author of the highly acclaimed Chronicles of Solace trilogy -- The Depths of Time, The Ocean of Years, and The Shores of Tomorrow, and a winner of the Hal Clement Award for the best Young Adult Science Fiction Novel. He was born in September, 1957. His wife, Eleanore Fox, is a diplomat in the United States Foreign Service. They have been posted to Brasilia, Brazil and Leipzig, Germany. They currently live in Takoma Park, Maryland, with their sons, Matthew and James.
