Rob MacGregor

represented by Eleanor Wood
Rob MacGregor set out to study archaeology, but ended up with a degree in journalism. Over the next dozen years, he wrote for newspapers and magazines. Never giving up his interest in ancient civilizations, he explored archaeological sites in Latin America, Europe and North Africa. Those experiences would later come in handy when he wrote a series of Indiana Jones novels. After finishing his first novel, Crystal Skull, Rob adapted the script for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and went on to write half a dozen original Indy novels, all set in the 1920s. He later wrote Prophecy Rock, winner of the Edgar Allan Poe award in the young adult category in 1996, and Hawk Moon, which was a final for the same award. By 2007, Rob had published 17 novels and 10 non-fiction books. His non-fiction includes books on dream interpretation, the sixth sense and yoga.
